This guided tour of the city offers you an amazing experience starting with the King´s new square, the Royal Danish Theatre, and the New Canal built in 1671. You will hear how the horrible slum area of Copenhagen old Harbour developed to be one of the cosiest and beautiful areas with plenty of restaurants and cafés. The famous Danish author Hans Christian Andersen lived here for 20 years in three different buildings. Here he got the inspiration for his most famous fairy tales. After passing down the beautiful old Harbour of Nyhavn, the walk will continue to the New Theater (Skuespillerhuset), that is an example of the new modern Danish sustainable architecture.
