Nyboder Tour

Nyboder is a historic row house district of former Naval barracks in Copenhagen, Denmark. Finished in 1644 it was planned and first built by Christian IV to accommodate a need for housing for the personnel of the Royal Danish Navy and their families. Nyboder still houses enlisted personnel of the Danish Navy, Army and Air Force. During our tour we will visit the Citadel, one of the best preserved fortresses in Northern Europe, the windmill of the fortress and the church for military personnel. When we walk down the road we will see the Anglican church and the Gefion fountain.
