_{Medieval Tour}

During the Medieval tour we will discover the evolution of the old fishermen´s village from bishop Absalon´s time to Christian the IV time. You will hear the story behind the urbanisation process and the development of the Church, trade and international market as well as establishment of the University of Copenhagen. The highlights of the tour are the Copenhagen Cathedral, the King´s Old Square, Caritas Fountain, New Square, the University of Copenhagen, the Church of Holy Spirit, Amagertorv, Højbroplads and the ruins of Absalon´s old castle.
